Silk Chanderi gives the kurta a lightweight, smooth feel with a clean finish and soft fall. It has no stretch, so the fit feels more fixed through the bust and shoulders, while the flared cut keeps the body easy.
The kurta has a semi-sheer look, especially through the back, so the included cotton undershirt adds coverage and a neater finish. Bottom: glace cotton; dupatta: organza (only with the dupatta option).
